(Michael Bolton, Standard Wien)
Bogdan Kapsarev was born in Yugoslavia (Belgrade, 1966) to the family of professors of Art & Literature, a stimulating and creative environment for the development of musical creativity. As an early flautist he won prestigious awards in competitions all over the Balkans. At the age of 16 he was selected to join the Klasse Prof. Gottfried Hechtl and the piano Klasse Prof. GertraudSchläffer, at the Conservatory of Vienna where he attracted considerable praise for his interpretation of Bach, Händel, Telemann and Prokofiev. After 7 years of learning flute and piano at the Konservatorium der Stadt Wien, he advanced his postgraduate studies and gained an MPhil in Acoustics & Technology of Musical Instruments at the University of Vienna.
He performed as a permanent member of the Concert Orchestra and Opera Orchestra of the Vienna Conservatory as a substitute of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra and as a member of IL PROMESSO chamber ensemble in Austria, Germany and Switzerland.
He started to creatively explore other genres and how classical music influenced rock. Soon he started to perform as pianist, flautist, keyboarder, singer as well as composer and arranger in various Austrian pop rock bands, winning several significant awards in European competitions. Since he became an official artist of ENSONIQ Synthesisers, he found an international band DUIT in Austria to break through the rock in German language. As a soloist, he excelled as a songwriter, singer and pianist in the project “Das Klavier & Bobby”. In 1992, his first instrumental CD “Urban World” was released in Vienna and from then on, he will compose and arrange music also for film and media. As a regular studio musician in Papermoon, Happl, Made in Vienna (14 albums) and Wollvieh Productions he became an Austrian number one in Official German Charts.
Nowadays he is performing on stage (piano, flute, singer) of Rhythm and Blues, Swing and Evergreen for the Entertainment Project and Star Company.
Over the last two decades he worked as a marketing and sales consultant in the piano industry. Specifically, he has been an authorised representative and/or a piano developer of Wendl & Lung, Klavier Galerie Wien, Brodmann and Sonicstar.
Today he is an entrepreneur and independent agent in the piano industry.
He is still an official artist from Wendl & Lung, Entertainment Project and Feurich.

Some of the biggest names in music have joined forces to celebrate healthcare workers in a globally televised concert. Lady Gaga, Paul McCartney and Billie Eilish were among more than 100 artists who performed songs from their living rooms, due to the coronavirus lockdown. The Rolling Stones even managed to play together from four separate locations.

I recommend you a prodigy on piano, Hungarian virtuoso Peter Bence, certified in 2012 by
Guinness World Records as ‘the world’s fastest piano player’. “Peter rose to prominence in 2015 when he uploaded videos to YouTube of him performing his arrangements of Michael Jackson’s ‘Bad’ and ‘Smooth Criminal’. Since then he’s performed covers of Queen, Toto, The Beatles, and more recently a crossover between Beethoven’s ‘Moonlight Sonata (3rd movement)’ with ‘Thunderstruck’ by AC/DC. Now, his music has been collected on his latest album, The Awesome Piano.” See here
